Practise scope, sampling, interviews, evidence evaluation, findings and corrective-action follow-up.
Saudi delivery choices
Discuss classroom, hybrid, live online, self-paced, corporate onsite and Arabic-support options.
For professionals who need to assess an ABMS, not build one
This course is for people responsible for evaluating evidence, leading audits, reporting findings or judging whether anti-bribery controls are working in practice. It is not a general ethics-awareness programme and it is not an implementation course.
- Internal, supplier, second-party and certification-audit professionals.
- Compliance, ethics, GRC, governance, risk and internal-control leaders.
- Consultants, technical experts and managers preparing for an ABMS audit.
- Saudi teams seeking a common audit approach across procurement, finance, legal, HR and operational functions.
Starting point: New to ISO 37001? Start with ISO 37001 Foundation training. Responsible for building the ABMS? See Lead Implementer training.
Auditing, implementing and understanding serve different responsibilities
A course is more useful when its outcome matches the work you need to do next. This Lead Auditor route focuses on independent assessment, evidence and audit conclusions.
| Route | Primary outcome | Choose it when |
|---|---|---|
| Foundation | Understand ABMS principles and vocabulary. | You need a structured entry point before taking on implementation or audit work. |
| Lead Implementer | Build, operate and improve an ABMS. | You own scope, policies, risk treatment, due diligence, controls or management review. |
| Lead Auditor | Plan, conduct, report and follow up ABMS audits. | You need to evaluate conformity and effectiveness through evidence-led audit work. |
Audit against ISO 37001:2025, not outdated 2016-era training
ISO 37001:2025 is the current anti-bribery management-system edition. The course connects ABMS requirements with recognised audit principles and the practical work of assessing anti-bribery policies, controls and evidence.
It brings ISO 37001 together with ISO 19011 audit guidance and ISO/IEC 17021-1 certification-process requirements, without representing legal advice or an organisation certification service.
For independent reference, see the ISO 37001 standard page and the official PECB Lead Auditor course page.

From ABMS requirements to a defensible audit conclusion
The current PECB agenda is taught as one connected audit journey, so participants understand not only what an auditor checks but why the evidence supports a conclusion.
Day 1: ABMS and ISO 37001
Understand anti-bribery management-system concepts, the ISO 37001:2025 requirements and the purpose of an evidence-led audit.
Day 2: Audit principles and preparation
Set objectives, scope and criteria; assess risk; prepare the audit plan, checklists, sampling approach and work documents.
Day 3: Onsite audit activities
Use interviews, observation, document review and traceable evidence to evaluate how controls operate in practice.
Day 4: Closing the audit
Evaluate evidence, write clear nonconformities, lead the closing meeting, report conclusions and follow up agreed actions.
Day 5: Certification examination
Consolidate the audit approach and sit the PECB ISO 37001 Lead Auditor examination on the selected route.
Across the programme
Manage an audit programme, lead an audit team and communicate findings clearly to control owners and senior stakeholders.
The audit workflow that turns requirements into useful assurance
Effective ABMS auditing is not a checklist exercise. You need to reach conclusions that are fair, traceable and useful to management.
- Define scope, criteria, objectives, audit risks and a workable plan.
- Trace evidence across bribery-risk assessment, due diligence, financial and non-financial controls, reporting channels and investigations.
- Interview process owners without assuming the answer or treating a policy as proof of operation.
- Use sampling and documented information to test whether controls work consistently.
- Write findings that connect the requirement, the observed evidence and the gap.
- Close the audit professionally and follow up nonconformities through an audit programme.

Know the difference between training, passing the exam and holding a credential
Current examination format
The PECB ISO 37001 Lead Auditor exam is currently an open-book, three-hour examination with 80 multiple-choice questions, including stand-alone and scenario-based items. The current passing score is 70%.
Confirm current PECB exam details before booking because policies can change.
Credential experience matters
Passing the exam does not automatically grant the full PECB Certified ISO 37001 Lead Auditor designation. The level awarded depends on verified professional and anti-bribery-management audit experience.
PECB currently lists the full Lead Auditor level at five years of professional experience, including two years in anti-bribery management and 300 audit hours. Other qualification levels may fit candidates with less verified experience.
PECB Authorized Training Partner route
On the selected PECB route, official materials, examination and certification-path support are included. We explain what EduDelphi provides and what remains subject to current PECB rules, verification and credential requirements.
Official certification, examination policies, retakes and credential decisions are governed by PECB. Confirm the current official requirements before booking an exam or relying on any credential outcome.
Build a shared ABMS audit approach across a Saudi team
Private cohorts can be shaped around the audit environment your team actually works in: procurement and third-party controls, governance and reporting, finance and commercial interfaces, internal controls or a broader compliance programme.
Relevant across Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Al Khobar, Jubail and distributed Saudi teams, particularly where organisations need a more consistent way to plan audits, test evidence, document findings and follow up improvements.
For Saudi audit and compliance teams
- Private classroom, hybrid, live online or corporate onsite delivery.
- Shared language for audit scope, evidence, sampling, findings and reporting.
- Pacing around project calendars, review periods, shifts and operational commitments.
- Discussion of audit-programme capability, team progression and next-step routes.

Questions Saudi candidates ask before choosing the route
Is ISO 37001 Lead Auditor training available in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Al Khobar?
Yes. EduDelphi can discuss classroom, hybrid, live-online, self-paced and private corporate options for professionals and teams across Saudi Arabia, including Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Al Khobar and Jubail, subject to the current schedule.
Is this course based on ISO 37001:2025?
Yes. The route is based on the current ISO 37001:2025 edition, which replaced ISO 37001:2016. Check the current ISO standard record and PECB course information before enrolment.
What is the difference between ISO 37001 Lead Auditor and Lead Implementer training?
Lead Implementer focuses on establishing, operating and improving an ABMS. Lead Auditor focuses on independently planning, conducting, reporting and following up ABMS audits. The correct choice depends on whether your next responsibility is building controls or assessing their conformity and effectiveness.
What is the PECB ISO 37001 Lead Auditor exam format?
PECB currently lists 80 multiple-choice questions, a three-hour duration, open-book conditions and a 70% passing score. It includes stand-alone and scenario-based questions. Always verify the current format directly with PECB before your exam.
Does passing the exam automatically make me a PECB Certified ISO 37001 Lead Auditor?
No. Passing the exam makes you eligible to apply, but PECB awards the credential level that matches verified professional experience and ABMS audit activity. The full Lead Auditor designation currently requires five years of professional experience, including two years in anti-bribery management and 300 audit hours.
Do you offer Arabic support?
Yes. Arabic support can be discussed for Saudi learners and corporate teams. Tell us your preferred delivery format, language needs and team size when you enquire.
Do you help with official PECB examination and credential planning?
Yes. We explain the current training route, exam preparation, official process and credential experience requirements. PECB remains responsible for examination rules, verification and credential decisions.
