What is the difference between ISO 21001 Lead Auditor and Lead Implementer?
Lead Auditor focuses on planning audits, gathering evidence, interviewing process owners, evaluating conformity and reporting findings. Lead Implementer focuses on establishing, managing, monitoring and improving an EOMS.
Does this training certify my school, university or training provider?
No. This is individual professional training. An organisation’s ISO 21001 certification is a separate audit process involving its chosen certification body and evidence from its own implemented EOMS.
What does the PECB ISO 21001 Lead Auditor exam cover?
PECB currently lists seven domains: EOMS concepts, EOMS requirements, audit principles, audit preparation, audit activities, audit closure and EOMS audit-programme management. Confirm current examination rules before your sitting.
Does passing the exam automatically grant the full PECB Lead Auditor credential?
No. Passing lets you apply for a PECB credential, but the title granted depends on verified professional and EOMS audit experience. Applicants with less experience may qualify for another level, such as Provisional Auditor or Auditor.
Are PECB materials, examination and an eligible retake included?
