Prepare charts and concise management commentary. Record assumptions, link claims to source figures and practise an Arabic-English reporting example where useful.

We teach current spreadsheet workflows and check the learning environment before delivery. The retired =COPILOT() worksheet function is not part of the core syllabus.
How to Check an AI-Generated Excel Formula
A supplier file has two rows with the same supplier ID: OMR 125.000 and OMR 80.000. You ask AI for that supplier’s total and receive an XLOOKUP formula. Is it the right answer?

Do I need advanced Excel or coding?
No coding or advanced Excel qualification is required. Basic workbook navigation, simple formulas and tables are helpful. Optional foundations support is available; complete beginners can choose the Microsoft Excel course first.
How is it different from your Microsoft Excel course?
The Microsoft Excel course builds Excel skills from foundations to advanced reporting. Excel with AI focuses on using and checking AI while working with spreadsheets. It does not repeat the full beginner-to-advanced syllabus.
Does the course cover Copilot and ChatGPT for Excel?
Yes. You practise selected spreadsheet workflows with both, including formulas, data analysis and reporting. The course focuses on useful tasks and checking results rather than every platform feature.
Can AI-generated Excel formulas be wrong?
Yes. A formula may use the wrong range, return only one match or misread the business question. You learn to inspect assumptions, test sample cases and compare the result with workbook calculations.
Can I upload company data to an AI tool?
Not automatically. Check personal or confidential information, company policies, approved tools, contractual safeguards and applicable Oman requirements. Training uses safe or sanitised examples and teaches a review-before-upload process.
Is this the same as Microsoft 365 Copilot training?
No. Microsoft 365 Copilot training covers workplace tasks across Microsoft apps. This course gives more guided time to Excel-specific formulas, data preparation, analysis, reporting and validation.
Does this course teach VBA and macros?
You see a bounded example of AI-assisted coding and learn when code is appropriate. Full programming, objects, loops, forms, debugging and maintainable macro development belong to the Excel VBA and Macros course.
