CCSP Exam Format and Scheduling
Understand the examination before you plan your preparation.
The examination uses multiple-choice and advanced item types. A scaled score of 700 is not the same as answering 70% of questions correctly. Register through ISC2 and book through Pearson VUE, checking live Singapore appointment availability before fixing your date.
How does the adaptive CCSP exam work?
The CAT system adjusts item selection based on your performance. You cannot return to previous questions. An exam ending at the minimum number of items does not, by itself, tell you whether you passed.
EduDelphi mocks do not reproduce ISC2’s proprietary adaptive algorithm. They help develop mixed-domain reasoning, pacing, concentration and no-backtracking discipline.
What happens if I need a retake?
Current ISC2 policy requires 30 test-free days after the first unsuccessful attempt, 60 after the second and 90 after the third and subsequent attempts. A maximum of four attempts is allowed within a 12-month period.
Check your specific purchase terms: the exam-only and optional Exam Peace of Mind Protection packages have different scheduling and retake conditions.

Can You Take CCSP Without the Full Experience?
You can take the examination before meeting the certification experience requirement.

Part-time work and internships may count under ISC2’s rules. Complete the certification or Associate application process within nine months after passing. ISC2 determines final acceptance of experience and substitutions.

Try a Cloud-Security Decision
A Singapore company is assessing a SaaS platform that stores customer information and replicates it overseas.
The provider has a recent assurance report and offers encryption. However, the company’s team has not confirmed where backups go, who can access the data or how deletion works. What should the security lead do first?

B is the strongest response. The team needs to understand the service, data lifecycle and responsibilities before judging whether controls meet its needs. An assurance report is useful evidence, but it does not answer every customer-specific question.
Encryption is important, but does not settle access, retention, deletion or transfer obligations. Overseas infrastructure is not automatically unacceptable; the actual requirements and safeguards must be assessed.

Is CCSP classroom training available in Singapore?

No. CISSP is not a prerequisite. An active CISSP credential can substitute for the CCSP experience requirement, but other eligible candidates can follow the standard route or become an Associate of ISC2 after passing.
Can I take the exam without five years of experience?
Yes. The experience requirement applies to receiving the full certification, not simply taking the exam. Candidates who pass before meeting it can pursue Associate of ISC2 status under ISC2’s rules.
Are the mocks the same as the adaptive ISC2 exam?
No. Our mocks do not replicate ISC2’s proprietary CAT algorithm. They help you practise mixed-domain judgement, time management and no-backtracking discipline, with explanations and faculty feedback.
Are ISC2 examination fees included in EduDelphi tuition?
ISC2 examination and certification costs are separate. We provide an SGD quotation for EduDelphi training and help you understand the official registration process.
Already a CISSP: do I pay a second ISC2 annual maintenance fee for CCSP?
No. Under current ISC2 policy, a certified member pays one US$135 annual maintenance fee across CISSP and CCSP, not US$135 for each. Adding CCSP does not remove its certification or CPE requirements.
How do I maintain CCSP after certification?
Current ISC2 requirements include 90 CPE credits over a three-year cycle, including at least 60 Group A credits, and the annual maintenance fee. Check the current ISC2 CPE handbook for eligible activities and reporting rules.
Can employers arrange a private CCSP cohort?
Yes. We provide corporate onsite, private classroom, live online and blended programmes, with custom schedules and relevant cloud-security cases. Practical workshops can be scoped separately from certification preparation.
