Build the Confidence to Plan, Conduct and Close QMS Audits
This five-day PECB ISO 9001 Lead Auditor course builds practical audit capability: scope, plans, interviews, evidence, nonconformities, reports and follow-up. Join in Dubai, live online across the UAE, or through a private corporate cohort.
PECB Training, EduDelphi Support and KHDA Learner Documentation
EduDelphi delivers preparation for the PECB ISO 9001 Lead Auditor route. PECB independently administers the examination and evaluates applications for professional credentials. Training, passing an examination, holding a personal PECB credential and obtaining an organisation’s ISO 9001 certificate are separate outcomes.
PECB Authorized Training Partner
EduDelphi delivers the PECB Lead Auditor route. The Dubai course is delivered through Delphi Star Training Center, a KHDA-authorised training institute. Eligible learners receive applicable KHDA course-completion documentation.
Official material and examination
Confirmed packages include official PECB material, the examination route and exam-preparation support. Ask for the current inclusion list with your AED fee guidance.
More than clause memorisation
Work through audit scope, plans, interviews, evidence, findings, nonconformity writing and final-report decisions.
Structured revision support
Use LMS resources, recordings, notes, handouts, mind maps, infographics, question practice, mock revision and trainer guidance.
For Auditors, Quality Professionals and QMS Teams
- Auditors and technical experts preparing to assess a QMS against ISO 9001.
- Quality, QA, QHSE, operations and process professionals who participate in internal, supplier or certification audits.
- Professionals who need to plan audit activities, collect evidence, interview stakeholders and write defensible findings.
- Consultants and team leaders seeking an audit-programme management route.
- Corporate teams that need consistent audit language across UAE sites or functions.
Practise the Work Behind a Defensible Audit
A lead-auditor course should prepare you to follow an audit trail, assess evidence and communicate a finding clearly – not only recall ISO 9001 clauses.
Plan the audit
Set scope, objectives, criteria, audit approach, team roles, schedules and working documents.
Test evidence
Use interviews, observations and documented information to test whether the QMS operates as intended.
Report and follow up
Write findings, nonconformities and audit-report content that supports action and accountable follow-up.
PECB ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Course Curriculum
The programme follows the current PECB Lead Auditor agenda and introduces PECB’s AMS2 Methodology as a structured approach to audit work.
Day 1: QMS and ISO 9001 from an auditor perspective
Quality management principles, QMS concepts, ISO 9001 requirements, audit roles and how an auditor evaluates conformity.
Day 2: Audit principles, preparation and initiation
Audit principles, PECB AMS2 Methodology, audit programme thinking, plans, working documents, sampling and evidence strategy.
Day 3: On-site audit activities
Opening meetings, interviews, observations, document review, audit trails, evidence verification and communicating emerging findings.
Day 4: Closing the audit
Findings, nonconformity reports, final audit reports, closing meetings, follow-up, audit-team leadership and audit-programme management.
Day 5: PECB examination
Exam-readiness review and the official PECB examination route. EduDelphi supports preparation; PECB independently determines the examination result and credential-application outcome.
Know What Passing the Examination Means
The current PECB candidate handbook describes 80 multiple-choice questions, a 70% passing score, stand-alone and scenario-based questions, and an open-book format. Rules can change, so candidates should verify the live PECB information before sitting the examination.

| Passing score | 70% |
| Format | Open book |
| Question style | Stand-alone and scenario-based |

Which PECB ISO 9001 Auditor credential can I apply for?

| Senior Lead Auditor | 10 years, including 7 years in quality management | 1,000 hours |
Audit QMS Evidence Against Real Operating Conditions
The course uses UAE-style operating situations to practise audit reasoning without presenting ISO 9001 as a UAE legal or sector-certification programme.
Projects and construction
Handover controls, subcontractor evidence, variations, inspection records and close-out decisions.
Logistics and distribution
Order accuracy, warehouse controls, supplier performance, delivery evidence and customer complaints.
Service and hospitality
Service consistency, competence, customer feedback, third-party delivery and corrective-action follow-up.
Manufacturing and trading
Process controls, traceability, nonconforming outputs, supplier quality and management-review evidence.
Lead Auditor vs Internal Auditor vs Lead Implementer
| Route | Best when | Main practical outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Internal Auditor | You audit within or for your own organisation. | Internal audit participation and reporting. |
| Lead Auditor | You need to plan, lead, report and follow up management-system audits. | Advanced audit methodology and audit-programme capability. |
| Lead Implementer | You need to build, operate and improve the QMS. | Implementation, controls, performance and certification-readiness capability. |
PECB vs CQI IRCA
They are different professional training and recognition ecosystems. This course is specifically for the PECB ISO 9001 Lead Auditor route. If an employer requests a CQI IRCA course, choose the route that meets that requirement.
Need to build the QMS instead?
Choose Lead Implementer when your responsibility is QMS design, implementation, monitoring and improvement rather than leading management-system audits.
Build Shared Audit Capability Across Your Team
Private cohorts help quality, operations and technical teams use a consistent audit method, evidence standard and finding language.
- Role and audit-readiness discussion before delivery.
- Approved company-case workshops and audit-document examples.
- Audit-planning, interview, evidence, finding and follow-up exercises.
- Dubai onsite, classroom or UAE live-online delivery.
- Group fees, schedules and follow-up support.

His experience includes supplier and process audits, root-cause investigations, management reviews, KPI frameworks, risk-based process controls and integrated ISO management systems. He has worked closely with operations, engineering, procurement, supply chain and senior-management teams.
Michael uses UAE-focused audit simulations, real process examples, nonconformity-writing exercises, CAPA cases and evidence-review workshops rather than teaching ISO 9001 only clause by clause.
