IMA-recognised learning support with a clear FMAA route
EduDelphi holds IMA Silver CMA Course Provider status. It reflects our structured IMA learning support, including faculty guidance, study planning, practice, mock review and an organised preparation experience.
For clarity: this provider status relates to EduDelphi’s US CMA learning offer. FMAA is a separate IMA credential; IMA independently controls the official FMAA examination, registration, certification and renewal requirements.

FMAA is IMA’s entry-level accounting and finance credential
FMAA stands for Financial and Managerial Accounting Associate. It is designed for learners building practical confidence in financial accounting, budgeting, cost management, performance measures and professional ethics.
EduDelphi provides independent FMAA exam preparation. IMA controls the official examination, credential requirements, exam scheduling, renewal and certification decisions.
FMAA is usually a strong fit when you are:
- A student or recent graduate seeking a structured accounting starting point.
- A finance assistant, accounts executive or junior accountant building formal foundations.
- Changing into finance and need confidence before a longer professional route.
- Preparing to progress toward a broader qualification such as US CMA, ACCA or US CPA later.
Keep classes, practice and revision in one study system
Early-career learners need a route that explains the “why” behind accounting entries and management decisions, not only answer patterns. Our teaching combines faculty guidance with organised practice so you can revisit difficult areas before exam day.
Live learning plus recordings
Dubai classroom and UAE-time live-online learning, backed by recorded sessions when you need to revise around work or university.
AI-powered study support
Notes, mindmaps, infographics, flashcards, practice activities, mocks and a clearer weekly revision structure.

Choose a clear revision route before you invest in exam preparation
EduDelphi combines faculty-led teaching with HOCK, Gleim and our own AI-powered LMS support. The available resource route, access period and inclusions are confirmed in writing before enrolment.

FMAA builds the foundation; it is not a replacement for every finance qualification
FMAA is a useful starting point when accounting concepts are new or you want a structured entry-level credential. A longer route may be better when your immediate aim is management accounting, professional accountancy, public accounting, audit or another specialist field.
Consider FMAA first
When you want a grounded introduction to accounting, budgeting, costs and ethics before taking on a more advanced path.
Consider a different route
When your education and career plan already point directly to a broader professional qualification.

FMAA vs CMA vs ACCA vs a basic accounting course
| Route | Usually best for | Main focus |
|---|---|---|
| FMAA | Beginners, students, graduates and career switchers. | Accounting and managerial-finance foundations. |
| US CMA | Learners with accounting fundamentals aiming for management accounting and FP&A. | Management accounting, performance and strategic finance. |
| ACCA | Learners seeking a broader professional accountancy path. | Accounting, audit, reporting and wider finance capability. |
| Basic accounting course | People who need job skills without a certification decision yet. | Entries, ledgers, bookkeeping and software workflow. |
The right starting point depends on your current confidence, education, work exposure and the role you are working toward.
