CIMA Course Details
Chartered Institute of Management Accountant (CIMA) established in year 1919, is reputed qualification in Business & Finance. With CIMA qualification you can work in the field of Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting, Financial Analysis, Business Analysis, Project Finance, Treasury Management, Risk Management etc.
CIMA Levels
CIMA exams are divided into four levels: Certificate level, Operational level, Management level, & Strategic level.
Level 1: Certificate in Business Accounting (Cert BA)

Certificate level subjects are:
- BA1 – Fundamentals of Business Economics
- BA 2 – Fundamentals of Management Accounting
- BA 3 – Fundamentals of Financial Accounting
- BA 4 – Fundamentals of Ethics, Corporate Governance, and Business Law
This level includes 4 objective exams & you will get CIMA Certificate in business accounting.
Certification in BA is an entry-level own route of CIMA qualification. You can get exemptions from this level depending upon your degree or accounting qualification.
Level 2: Operational Level
Operational level subjects are:
- E1: Organizational Management
- P1: Management Accounting
- F1: Financial Reporting and Taxation
The operational level includes 3 objective exams & 1 case study exam. In this level, you will get a certificate of CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting.
Level 3: Management Level
Managerial level subjects are:
- E2: Project and Relationship Management
- P2: Advanced Management Accounting
- F2: Advanced Financial Reporting
The management level includes 3 objective exams & 1 case study exam. In this level, you will get a certificate of CIMA Advance Diploma in Management Accounting.
Level 4: Strategic Level
Strategic level subjects are:
- E3 Strategic Management
- P3 Risk Management
- F3 Financial Strategy
The strategic level includes 3 objective exams & 1 case study exam. In this level, you will get a certificate in Assessment of Practical experience.
