Quick answer

What is ACCA and who is it for?

ACCA is a globally recognised professional accountancy qualification for people building careers in accounting, audit, reporting, finance, tax, controls and business advisory. In Dubai, it is most useful when the exam route is paired with relevant work experience, realistic paper planning and strong reporting or finance capability.

Best forGraduates, junior accountants, audit professionals and working finance teams who want a structured professional-accountancy pathway.
Not just papersProgress includes exams, the Ethics and Professional Skills Module and ACCA’s practical-experience requirement for membership.
A practical ACCA route

Start at the right level, then build a paper plan you can realistically complete

ACCA is not one short course. It is a professional route that combines exams, the Ethics and Professional Skills Module and practical experience. Your qualification, exemptions, working hours and chosen exam pace determine the plan.

We help Dubai and UAE candidates identify the likely starting point, map the papers that remain, build a sensible session-by-session plan and separate tuition decisions from ACCA’s own registration and exam requirements.

Entry, exemptions and route check

Start with an eligibility and exemptions review, not a generic ACCA package

Your academic background decides whether you begin directly with ACCA, use a foundation route or may receive exemptions. ACCA makes the final decision, but we help you prepare the right documents and understand the likely study path before you enrol.

Your starting point What it can mean Best next step
School-leaver meeting ACCA direct-entry requirements Direct ACCA Qualification entry generally requires the equivalent of two A-Levels and three GCSEs across five separate subjects, including English and maths. Share your academic record for a practical route check.
Does not meet direct entry ACCA’s Foundation-level route has no minimum academic entry requirement and can provide a pathway toward the main ACCA Qualification. Discuss the appropriate foundation starting point before registering.
Accounting, finance or business graduate You may be eligible for exemptions, depending on the institution, programme and ACCA’s current rules. Check your university and subjects through ACCA’s official exemptions process.
Working accountant, auditor or finance professional Experience helps with planning, but formal exemptions are based on recognised qualifications rather than job title alone. Map the remaining papers around your workload and intended career direction.

Under the current qualification, ACCA can award up to nine exemptions across Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills. Strategic Professional exams cannot be exempted. Use ACCA’s official exemptions calculator for the current decision; we can help interpret the route, but cannot approve exemptions on ACCA’s behalf.

ACCA qualification pathway

Current ACCA papers and a practical plan for the 2027 qualification transition

ACCA currently progresses through Applied Knowledge, Applied Skills and Strategic Professional exams, alongside ethics and practical experience. Exemptions can change the papers you need, so we confirm your individual route before enrolment.

Applied Knowledge: build accounting and finance foundations
  • Business and Technology (BT), Management Accounting (MA) and Financial Accounting (FA).
  • Build the accounting, business and numerical foundations required for the rest of the qualification.
  • Planning focus: identify whether exemptions apply before you book a first paper.
Applied Skills: develop practical accounting, audit and finance capability
  • Corporate and Business Law (LW), Performance Management (PM), Taxation (TX), Financial Reporting (FR), Audit and Assurance (AA), Financial Management (FM).
  • Build broad practical finance skills for reporting, audit, analysis and business decisions.
  • Planning focus: create a paper sequence that suits your work exposure and exam sessions.
Strategic Professional: prepare for leadership-level judgement
  • Strategic Business Leader (SBL), Strategic Business Reporting (SBR), plus two options from AFM, APM, ATX and AAA.
  • Develop strategic, ethical and professional judgement with a specialism aligned to your career direction.
  • Planning focus: choose options based on the work you want to own, not simply the easiest-sounding paper.
Ethics and practical experience: complete the membership route
  • Complete ACCA’s Ethics and Professional Skills Module and Practical Experience Requirement.
  • ACCA states membership requires 36 months of relevant experience and nine performance objectives.
  • Planning focus: record relevant experience as you progress instead of treating it as a final administrative step.
2027 ACCA transition

Your ACCA progress is designed to carry forward, not restart

ACCA has published transition arrangements that carry current progress and applicable credits into the redesigned qualification. Your exact route depends on the papers, exemptions and EPSM progress you hold.

Current Applied Skills deadline

To achieve the current ACCA Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business, complete all Applied Skills exams by the June 2027 exam session and EPSM by ACCA’s published mid-July 2027 deadline. Candidates who have not completed Applied Skills will transition to the new Expertise level with credit for equivalent elements already completed.

What happens after June 2027

June 2027 is the final sitting of the current Applied Skills and Strategic Professional exams. The redesigned Expertise and Strategic Professional exams begin from the September 2027 session. Follow ACCA’s student transition guidance for your exact position.

Fees, sessions and official exam route

ACCA Course Fees in Dubai: Training Fees vs Official ACCA Costs

EduDelphi provides tuition, revision and planning support. ACCA governs official registration, annual subscription, exemptions, EPSM and exam-entry costs. The official side must be budgeted separately unless a written package explicitly says otherwise.

GBP 89 + GBP 1402026 reference for initial registration and the annual student subscription.
GBP 98 / GBP 1232026 Applied Knowledge / Applied Skills exemption reference per awarded exemption.
GBP 81 + exam fees2026 EPSM reference. Exam-entry costs vary by paper, session, deadline and location.

Exam logistics: ACCA’s session exams normally run in March, June, September and December. BT, MA and FA are currently available as on-demand CBEs. LW (UK and Global) is also on-demand, while other law variants and Applied Skills papers follow the applicable session structure. Availability should always be confirmed for the learner’s location and exam version.

Membership route: ACCA also requires the Ethics and Professional Skills Module and 36 months of relevant practical experience with performance objectives. Official pricing: these are current 2026 Middle East reference prices; entries and charges can change. Check the live ACCA Middle East dates and fees before paying. We will explain the training and official sides separately in your Dubai fee breakup.

Career outcomes in Dubai and UAE

Use ACCA to strengthen a wider finance-career narrative

ACCA does not guarantee a job, promotion or salary increase. It can make your profile more credible when it is paired with relevant experience, IFRS/reporting skill, audit or controls exposure, strong Excel and professional communication.

Role direction What employers tend to value How ACCA can support your story
Junior Accountant / Accounts Executive Accurate bookkeeping, reconciliations, reporting discipline and system confidence. Builds a structured accounting foundation and a progression route beyond transaction work.
Audit / Assurance Associate Financial reporting understanding, audit evidence, controls and professional judgement. Supports audit, reporting and assurance knowledge alongside practical engagement experience.
Financial Reporting / FP&A Professional IFRS awareness, management reporting, performance analysis and stakeholder communication. Helps connect financial statements, performance and finance decision-making language.
Finance Manager / Controller Path Reporting ownership, governance, planning, controls and leadership experience. Supports a long-term professional-accountancy narrative; experience and employer scope remain decisive.

Discuss your intended role and current experience with an advisor. We will recommend a route without promising a particular salary or job outcome.

FAQs

ACCA course questions from Dubai and UAE candidates

What is the difference between an ACCA student, affiliate and member?

Under the current ACCA Qualification, you are a student while completing the required exams. Once you complete the current Strategic Professional exam requirements, you become an ACCA affiliate. To become an ACCA member, you must also complete the Ethics and Professional Skills Module and the Practical Experience Requirement, including 36 months of relevant experience and the required performance objectives. ACCA’s affiliate requirements change under the redesigned qualification from 2027, so candidates crossing the transition should follow ACCA’s current guidance.

Do you offer ACCA classes in Dubai and live online across the UAE?

Yes. Classroom-capable Dubai, hybrid, live-online and corporate options can be discussed based on the current paper, batch and learner requirement. Recordings and structured revision support help working professionals stay on track.

Can I receive ACCA exemptions?

Possibly. Exemptions depend on your qualification, university, transcript and ACCA’s current rules. We can discuss the likely route, but ACCA makes the final decision.

How long does ACCA take in Dubai?

ACCA states that the exam component can potentially be completed in around two years at the maximum permitted exam pace, although actual timing depends heavily on exemptions and study capacity. Full ACCA membership also requires 36 months of relevant practical experience, so the complete route to membership has a minimum three-year practical timeline when experience is accumulated alongside study.

How do ACCA exams work in Dubai?

ACCA normally runs four exam sessions per year: March, June, September and December. BT, MA and FA are currently available as on-demand CBEs. LW (UK and Global) is also on-demand, while other law variants and Applied Skills papers follow the applicable session structure. We help you plan the right papers; ACCA controls official entry and exam delivery.

What is included in EduDelphi ACCA preparation?

Depending on your agreed route, it can include trainer-led classes, recordings, AI LMS materials, notes, mind maps, infographics, flashcards, podcasts, 5,000+ practice questions, mocks, paper planning and exam-support guidance.

What are ACCA course fees in Dubai?

EduDelphi fees are enquiry-led because the paper set, delivery format and support route differ. ACCA’s own registration, subscription, exemption and exam costs are separate; we explain both parts clearly before you enrol.

Can I study ACCA after school or as a graduate in Dubai?

Yes, subject to ACCA entry requirements and your academic background. Candidates who do not meet direct-entry requirements may have a foundation route. Graduates may have exemptions. Ask us for an individual route check.

Can I study a current ACCA paper if the qualification changes in 2027?

Yes, ACCA has published transition guidance designed to recognise current progress and eligible exemptions in the future qualification. Your exact position depends on the papers and exemptions you hold, so use ACCA’s current transition information and request an individual paper-plan discussion.

Is there an online ACCA option if I am not studying in Dubai?

Yes. If your study route is not Dubai-specific, see the global online ACCA course for a worldwide online preparation route.

Can I receive Arabic ACCA training support?

Arabic training and Arabic admissions support can be discussed for appropriate UAE learners or cohorts. Tell us your preferred language, papers and study format when you enquire.
