Current ACCA Route and the July 2027 Qualification Transition
The Applied Knowledge, Applied Skills and Strategic Professional route remains the current ACCA structure for the 2026-27 syllabus year. ACCA will move students to its redesigned Qualification from July 2027, after the final June 2027 Applied Skills and Strategic Professional sitting.
What changes in 2027
The redesigned route introduces Knowledge, Expertise and Strategic Professional levels, Essential Employability Modules and more explicit technology, data, sustainability and AI content. Strategic Professional will include a Data Science Professional option.
What happens to current progress
ACCA states that completed equivalent elements will receive transition credit. If your study plan runs into 2027, EduDelphi will map your papers, exemptions and target sittings against the applicable transition guidance rather than treating the route as unchanged.

When Are ACCA Exams Held? On-Demand and Session Exams
EduDelphi tuition is delivered online, but official ACCA exam delivery follows ACCA’s current rules for the paper and country. Build your course plan around the relevant exam type before selecting a batch.
On-demand CBEs
BT, MA and FA, plus the English and Global variants of LW, are currently available as on-demand computer-based exams. They can be taken through an approved centre at a time arranged with that centre.
Session exams
Most other ACCA papers run during four annual sessions: March, June, September and December. Some variant papers have more limited session availability.
Current exam-load limit
ACCA currently permits up to four exams in one exam cycle and up to eight distinct exams in a calendar year. A realistic paper plan should respect both the rule and your work schedule.
ACCA tuition online does not automatically mean exams at home
From March 2026, session-based ACCA exams are generally centre-based. Remote availability is limited to particular circumstances and locations, so confirm the current exam method for your country directly with ACCA before booking.
