What is the CISA certification?
CISA is a professional credential for people who audit, assess, govern, control, secure or assure information systems. It brings IT audit, governance, systems delivery, resilience and information-asset protection into one recognised examination framework.

Choose CISA when technology assurance is central to your next responsibility
CISA is designed for professionals who need to evaluate technology risk and controls with the judgement expected in audit, governance, security and business-resilience work.
Audit systems with confidence
For IT auditors, internal auditors and assurance professionals reviewing technology-enabled processes and controls.
Connect control design to risk
For GRC, risk, control and compliance professionals responsible for evidence-led assurance.
Strengthen assurance context
For information-security, resilience, privacy and technology-risk professionals working across business stakeholders.
When another route may fit better: consider CISM when information-security management is the main focus, CIA for broader internal-audit leadership, or CFE when fraud examination is the primary responsibility.
What is included in the EduDelphi online CISA course?
A structured preparation system for working professionals who need live explanation, practical audit context and a clear weekly route through the CISA domains.
40+ guided hours
Faculty-led online learning across all five CISA domains, with question solving and exam-planning support.
3,000+ resources
Topic drills, mock exams, weak-area revision and answer debriefs that explain the audit judgement behind a choice.
Flexible reinforcement
Recordings, notes, mind maps, infographics, revision tools and AI-assisted study support where applicable.
Audit scenarios
Practical cases that connect systems, evidence, controls, risks and recommendations rather than isolated definitions.
Live or self-paced
Live batches, recording-led reinforcement, self-paced support and one-to-one guidance can be discussed by route.
Team preparation
Private cohorts for audit, GRC and technology teams with pacing, examples and delivery aligned to the team context.
Learn to reason through an audit issue, not just name a control
A privileged-access review finds that former contractors still appear in the user directory, exceptions were approved informally and evidence of periodic access recertification is inconsistent.
In class, learners work through what is established, what may indicate a control-design or operating-effectiveness gap, the evidence needed next and how a finding should be communicated. The purpose is to practise disciplined audit judgement, not to substitute a real investigation.
Evidence-first IT audit thinking
Separate an observation from a conclusion; connect risk to objective evidence; identify the next procedure; and frame a practical recommendation for management and governance.

CISA Exam Format, Questions, Passing Score & Scheduling
The CISA exam is computer-based and consists of 150 multiple-choice questions to be completed within four hours. ISACA reports scores on a scaled 200–800 range; 450 is the current passing score, not 45% or a simple percentage-correct threshold.
| Current official reference | Detail |
|---|---|
| Exam questions | 150 multiple-choice questions |
| Exam duration | 4 hours |
| Passing score | 450 scaled score on the 200–800 scale |
| Registration | Continuous registration; schedule after payment in the applicable ISACA route |
| Scheduling window | Eligibility is currently valid for six months after registration |
| Testing | ISACA testing options are subject to the live scheduling rules and availability |
Plan your route clearly
Can you take the CISA exam before five years of experience?
Yes. Candidates can take and pass the exam before meeting the professional-experience requirement for full CISA certification. To apply for certification, ISACA currently requires five years of relevant information-systems audit, control or security experience, with certain education and credential waivers potentially reducing that requirement.
You have up to five years after passing the exam to apply for certification. EduDelphi can help you understand the route, but ISACA makes the official eligibility and experience decision.
Build a route around your actual schedule
Preparation time differs with IT audit experience, weekly capacity and whether you join a live or recording-led route. The EduDelphi course provides 40+ live guided hours plus flexible resources, recordings, practice and mock support.
Prefer self-paced preparation? A recording-led route can be discussed for candidates who cannot attend fixed live timings, with LMS resources and scheduled support according to the selected package.

Where can CISA certification support your career?
CISA preparation is relevant where technology assurance, controls and risk communication shape professional credibility. It does not guarantee a role or salary; career outcomes depend on experience, jurisdiction, employer and responsibilities.

Qualified Engineer, CSCP, PMP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CDPSE
Kashif brings 13+ years of CISA training experience and connects audit concepts to technology controls, governance, risk, assurance and the decisions professionals face in real operating environments.
CISA questions often test which audit step is most appropriate, not only whether a control sounds familiar. In mock debriefs, we separate concept errors from evidence, sequencing and professional-judgement errors so the next study session targets the actual weakness.
Corporate CISA Training for IT Audit, GRC & Technology-Risk Teams
Private cohorts help teams develop shared language around systems assurance, evidence, controls, governance and exam readiness without losing the operating context that matters to their roles.
1. Needs mapping
Discuss roles, current knowledge, intended CISA parts of the journey and relevant audit or control context.
2. Cohort design
Plan global time zones, pacing, live delivery, recordings where agreed and practical examples.
3. Practice & visibility
Use question checkpoints, mock planning and attendance or progress visibility where agreed for the cohort.
